SE by name and nature is not just a way you dress - It's a way to choose things. The new Altea XL SE bears this in mind, and moves on to the rest. There are new front bumpers, new chromed grilles, a smoother tailgate and fitted rear lights, tinted windows and folding and heatable mirrors with electric park position.

For tactile reasons the Altea XL SE comes with a new gearshift knob and three spokes multi-functional leather steering wheel which features paddles with DSG (except in the TDI 105PS). It also has a new Dual Zone Climate Control, a Combined USB port and Aux in (CUP) and a new radio CD MP3 with 6 speakers. And then there are some touches to give the SE its name - like its 16'' Enea alloy wheels, the easy-on-the-eye white instrument illumination and the new exterior glass front lamps, seats with height and lumbar adjustment and cruise control.

And last but not least - for that candle-in-the-window-feeling - a Coming Home function, which leaves the headlights on for enough time for you to get out of the car, find your keys, and get into your house. Smooth.
